American Journal of Epidemiology Published by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health 2007.

RE: "DIRECTED ACYCLIC GRAPHS, SUFFICIENT CAUSES, AND THE PROPERTIES OF CONDITIONING ON A COMMON EFFECT"

In a recent paper, VanderWeele and Robins made reference to an "OR operator" (1, p. 1097). The Journal printed this term as "odds ratio operator" rather than "OR" (as in "either/or"). The Journal apologizes that this error was not corrected in proof as requested by the authors. The authors and the Journal regret the error.
