We thank Dr. Milham for his interest (1) in our study (2). Dr. Milham comments on only a small part of our paper, which needs to be put in the context of all the results presented. In the full paper, we offer a thorough discussion of the strengths, limitations, and potential biases of the study. These include statements that our findings are based on very small numbers (especially for long-term mobile phone use) and that cases with malignant tumors might have difficulties in remembering details about phone use. Our conclusions are based on all results in relation to such existing uncertainties. We also conclude in our paper that more epidemiologic studies including long-term users are clearly warranted.
