ERRATUM

RE: "FITNESS AND FATNESS AS PREDICTORS OF MORTALITY FROM ALL CAUSES AND FROM CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IN MEN AND WOMEN IN THE LIPID RESEARCH CLINICS STUDY"

American Journal of Epidemiology2002156832841

In the abstract of a paper by Stevens et al. published in the November 1, 2002, issue of the Journal (1), the hazard ratios for men should have been 1.25 (fit-fat), 1.44 (unfit-not fat), and 1.49 (unfit-fat) to correspond with the order of the categories listed in the preceding sentence.

The Journal and the authors regret the error.
