This issue of the Journal concludes Volume 154, in which a new format for the Book Reviews section was initiated. Each issue of the Journal now contains a review of a book relevant to the field and a brief editorial note. The editorial note is not necessarily related to the particular book being reviewed, but it is, of course, also intended to have epidemiologic relevance.

We now solicit our readers' reactions to the new format and their suggestions for further improvements. Readers are invited to suggest books for review that they have encountered and that they think might be of interest to the Journal's readership.

When suggesting books for review, be sure to provide complete publication documentation (name of the publisher, ISBN number, etc.). Comments and suggestions may be sent to the Journal office in Baltimore or directly to the Book Reviews Editor by e-mail: ajebookreviews{at}yahoo.com. We look forward to your feedback.
