ERRATA

Dr. Polly A. Newcomb and colleagues have informed the Journal that they have discovered an error in their recently published article (1). The error occurs on page 789 in the second full paragraph, where the time period should read "April 1988 through December 1991" not "April 1989 through December 1991," i.e., the full sentence should read: "Cases were identified by each state's cancer registry from April 1988 through December 1991, except for New Hampshire, where subjects were enrolled beginning in January 1990."

The authors and the Journal regret this error.
