ERRATUM

ABSTRACT

Kenneth C. Chu and Robert J. Cooper have brought to the Journal's attention an error in figures 1 and 2 of their paper, "Analysis of the Temporal Patterns of Benefits in the Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York Trial by Stage and Age," which appeared in the May 15, 1991, issue (1). In both figures 1 and 2, the survival curves are incorrectly labeled. The not screen detected curves should be denoted by squares ({square}) and the control group curves should be denoted by pluses (+).

The Journal regrets the error.
