DANIEL STRICKLAND and JOHN A. H. LEE

Strickland D. (School of Public Health and Community Medicine, U. of Washington, Seattle WA 98195) and J. A. H. Lee. Melanomas of eye: Stability of rates. Am J Epidemiol 1981; 113: 700–2.

The incidence and mortality rates for malignant melanomas of the eye are changing very little in populations in Europe, North America, Austraiasla and Japan. This is in contrast to the rapid rise of these rates for malignant melanoma of skin in these populations.

Caucasold race; longitudinal studies; melanoma; eye neoplasms
